Frida

this is one of the best places to ever come to this neighborhood. my mom and i have gradually made our way through the menu and there is nothing we haven't absolutely loved. their shrimp tostoncitos are incredible and their signature birria is perfect in a quesadilla, atop nachos, or as tacos. it's perfection. their drinks are strong and aesthetically pleasing to look at (their cafetini is my favorite while my mom is a fan of their many flavored margaritas). the staff is incredibly friendly and the vibes inside are amazing. definitely give it a try!!

Frida's is a welcomed addition to the Mill basin area. We have few spots to unwind and this place does not disappoint. I recently celebrated a birthday dinner with friends and it was great. It started with the conversation with Christina to make the reservation-she was upbeat and made me excited to come. Once we arrived, the place was filled with great music and vibes ("ambiance was nice and good music"). I enjoyed my meal, birria mofongo. My friends enjoyed their meals as well including the shrimp ("I'm returning for the shrimp tacos") and fish tacos and quesa birria as well as the drinks, mojito. My lychee mojito was delicious. My friend said the coconut mojito was "nicely decorated and flavorful". Christina even made suggestions for those who wanted a mocktail instead and it was delicious. Overall, great vibes, ambiance, drinks and great host. I will return to Frida's and thank you.

Hands down, I drank one of the best mixed cocktails ever (see my photo). The food was excellent too! The atmosphere is very intimate, great for any group size. Definitely make a reservation for a table. Bar area is great too. This is one of my new fave spots. Looking forward to dining here again, especially for the beautiful cocktails.

Order anything birria here and you will NOT be disappointed. The food here is so good, I wish I could stay longer just to eat more. The space is small so get in where you fit in, but it's always worth it. The desserts are also divine. I'm in TN but the next trip back home, I know where I'll be!

Wow wow wow! This place has it all from the environment, music, drinks ( alcoholic & non alcoholic ), and cultural variety of choices patrons can choose from. This is a great place to eat authentic Dominic food. As a southeast Asian, I was immediately embraced by the staff members and was offered assistance with food and non alcoholic options. The food delivery, both appetizers and entrees, were cooked fresh and delivered in a very timely manner. The food was delicious and kept true to the way they make it back home. While eating, I could not help but notice the attention to detail this store packed into such a small place; Even the bathroom was decorated accordingly! I'm glad I came to Frida, and look forward to coming back!

This delicious restaurant has a great vibe and delicious drinks, I really enjoyed the Matchatini. The music and artwork match the creative menu. Next time I will try the Bad Bunny inspired drink. One cocktail was strong enough for this visit. The espresso was prefect! I highly recommend this restaurant.
